Competitions

and Prizes

The ongoing make-your-own-dingbats-quiz competition.
Send in your own (or your student’s) psychology dingbats. The best ones (as judged by the conference) will win prizes. The dingbat needs to be a visual representation of a psychologist, a psychological concept or a great moment in psychology. Some examples are shown here.

The great-moments-in-psychology competition
This competition is open to video or still image entries. Create a re-enactment of a great moment in psychology or create an image tableau of a great moment.

Naughty Teddy

The example here shows what happened to Naughty Teddy after his 15 minutes of fame in the cognitive development studies. A sorry tale of celebrity lifestyle followed by rehab. This image shows him in his Very Naughty Teddy period.

Once again this competition is open to all and will be judged at the conference. The video reconstruction might make a good mini project for students.
